Ygnite (pronounced ‘ignite’) brings together over 200 of the brightest and most promising early-career scientists and engineers from all over the United States. Participants have the opportunity to showcase their research, attend science and leadership panels, participate in problem solving exercises, and network with others in their field.
Ygnite provides a unique opportunity for you, bringing together and bridging across fields such as biomedical engineering, healthcare, pharmacy, electrical engineering, computer science, startups, and more.

Ygnite is a premier technical and leadership conference for emerging scientists, engineers, healthcare professionals, academics, and start-up professionals from Korean-American backgrounds.
To hone STEM-based technical skills, Ygnite’s program includes curated lectures, research presentations, moderated panels, as well as poster sessions to showcase emerging ideas. To further develop leadership skills, the program invites experts from academia, industry, and business to share their challenges and paths to success. Participants share their knowledge and experience with each other while expanding their personal and professional networks.
In hopes to further access for future generations, KSEA established an arm for students and young professionals, now known as “YG”, or the Young Generation. Of the several events held by YG, Ygnite offers a platform for you to share your professional work and personal stories with other individuals from diver1se backgrounds. The conference boasts of presentations by your peers, talks with illustrious speakers, and fun events like tech startup contests.
