The early deadline is October 3rd, 2021, 11:59PM PDT and the regular deadline is October 24th, 2021, 11:59PM PDT.
The safety of our participants is a top priority for us. As part of the Ygnite organizing team, we recognize that COVID-19 and an increasing number of variants pose threats to safety, despite precautions with mask mandates and availability of vaccines. To continue to prioritize the safety of Ygnite participants, the following guidelines will be set in place (much of which, aligns with CDC recommendations):
Each morning before the start of the conference sessions, the Ygnite committee will perform temperature checks for all participants.
While several situations may prevent a participant from attending Ygnite, the registration fee is final and not refundable. However, if you feel uncomfortable joining us, please let us know by December 25th and we will issue a full refund. Please let us know as soon as possible to accommodate other participants. In the case you test positive for COVID-19 72 hours before the conference, we will accommodate a partial refund of the registration fee with valid proof provided to the organizing committee.
We will send out the final acceptance notifications within 2 weeks of the final application deadline.
The application is due October 24th, 2021 at 11:59PM (PDT).
The conference program begins early morning on Friday, January 21, 2022 and ends on Sunday, January 23, 2022. As such, Ygnite provides lodging for Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night, and we encourage conference attendees to arrive on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Once accepted as a presenter, we will send you an email with details about how to prepare for your presentation. Meanwhile, you can check out the program description on our website to get a general idea of each session.
Participants are encouraged to bring printed posters up to 48” w x 30” h.
Yes, we will notify you if you have been selected as a lecture presenter or recommend if the topic is best suited for poster presentation.
If you do not have a company and have not raised funds, please apply for the idea pitch competition.
You can participate as a team, but will need to submit a separate application for each participant. Under the avenue of participation (either startup showcase or idea pitch competition), please submit the same response if you wish to participate as a team. The maximum number of participants in each team is 3.
