Do you have big ideas that you want to share with our community?
We currently host 7 avenues for presenting, all of which are accompanied with additional conference registration fee discounts and travel support:
General participant (non-presenter) is an alternative option which entails higher registration fees and does not come with travel support, but no preparation of presentation materials is required.

Would you like to share your past or ongoing projects and showcase your professional background? Share your academic research or industrial projects in a 10-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. Your presentation should be approachable and engaging for an audience with a diverse set of backgrounds. You will be presenting in person to a live audience of other Ygnite participants.

What makes you the person that you are today? How have you leveraged professional and personal synergy to catalyze your life, career, or interpersonal relationships? Share your stories for 5 minutes, including, but not limited to, lessons learned, leadership, teamwork, hobbies, and more. This is a perfect opportunity to showcase who you were, who you are today, and/or who you will be in the future. You will be presenting in person to a live audience of other Ygnite participants.
Do you like sharing your life stories, hobbies, and activities on social media? If you were an influencer in your area of interest, how would you showcase your knowledge on Youtube, Instagram, or TikTok? Take a 3 to 5 minute video clip of yourself explaining your passions. This is an opportunity for you to be you, in a judgment free zone. Your pre-recorded video will be displayed to a live audience of other Ygnite participants. We strongly recommend including yourself in the video to increase engagement with your audience.
Do you enjoy presenting and discussing your technical work or experiences in an open environment? Bring a poster which showcases your topic to a 1 hour session where any participant may come to learn about your area of interest. The audience ranges from undergraduate students to professors and experienced industry professionals from a range of different fields. Young Generation (YG) groups are an integral part of the KSEA organization that brings together Korean-American undergraduate and graduate students, along with young professionals, who have similar interests in the sciences and engineering. These groups work towards cultivating the next generation of Korean-American scientists and engineers through a number of avenues that include networking, community service and leadership.
We invite YG leadership representatives from all across the country to join us for the YG Leadership Session where we will promote networking among representatives and facilitate meaningful discussions on building effective relationships within the YG network. Through these sessions, representatives will have the chance to establish personal and professional relationships with fellow representatives, and to share their experiences and discuss a number of issues related to managing their respective YG groups. Note: Recent grads who were previous YG officers with chapter experiences are also welcome.
Ygnite 2023 offers two startup programs, one for aspiring and one for early-stage entrepreneurs. These programs are opportunities for you to pitch your ideas, build strong networks, and acquire passionate business mentors. Our goal is to encourage and support entrepreneurship in the Korean-American community by offering competitions where entrepreneurs can receive constructive feedback from experienced venture capitalists and established CEOs. This year, we offer a Venture Showcase and a Vision Pitch Competition in addition to a panel discussion, lecture, and networking session focused on startups. Winners from the startup competitions will receive cash prizes!
